Onsite bookkeeping frequently asked questions

Q: What is the difference between on-site bookkeeping and off-site bookkeeping?
A: For on-site bookkeeping, one of our bookkeepers goes to work in your office. For off-site bookkeeping, we pick up documents from you and process it in our office. We then file returns when there are due and provide you financial reports.

Q: Which bookkeeping service should I use, on-site or off-site?
A: It depends. If you do not have office space or computer and software, off-site bookkeeping is definitely the best solution. On-site service is available only in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) but there is no geographic limitation for off-site service. Q: Can I increase or reduce the frequency of on-site services?
A: Yes, you can.  You can reduce the frequency of our service in slow seasons and increase it when you get busier. We are always happy to work out with you a schedule that is tailored to your budget and workload to maximize the value of our service.

Q: Does your office provide support to your on-site bookkeepers?
A: Yes, our office supervises the bookkeepers to make sure the work is performed professionally according to your requirements. We also provide continued training to upgrade our bookkeepers’ skills in order to keep up with the challenges of ever-changing business environment. If our bookkeepers face any challenging situation, our supervisors will provide immediate support to solve the problems either by phone or on-site in your office. Also, from time to time, our office will review the work of our bookkeepers to control the quality.

Q. If I am not satisfied with the bookkeeper assigned to me, can I change to another one?
A. Yes, if you are not happy with the bookkeeper assigned to you for whatever reason, simply let us know and we will send you a replacement. Our goal is to achieve a perfect match between the bookkeeper and your requirements to maximize the value of our services.

Q. How is the working schedule made?
A. If you use our regular service, will normally set up the schedule at a fixed day, for example, every Wednesday or Thursday of every other week. Normally, at the end of the day before our bookkeeper leaves, he or she will setup with you for next appointment according to tax filing due days or estimation of workload.

Q. What if my book is audited by government?
A. Our bookkeepers have the experience to work with the auditors. We will response to the auditor’s inquiry. Our office will also provide support if necessary.
